Why PhysioPilot Exists
Engineered to solve the single largest bottleneck in Indian undergraduate physiotherapy: the chasm between passive textbook memorization and high-stakes bedside clinical execution.
The Educational Challenge in Indian BPT
Every year, tens of thousands of Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) undergraduates across India enter demanding 4.5-year degree programs governed by state health universities (such as WBUHS, RGUHS, MUHS, and KNRUHS). The academic expectations are grueling:
- Encyclopedic Volume: Students juggle thousands of pages across foundational anatomy (BD Chaurasia), joint biomechanics (Levangie & Norkin), electrotherapy modalities (Clayton), and clinical assessment (Magee).
- The Clinical Shock: When students transition from classroom lectures to real hospital ward postings, passive memorization collapses under the pressure of real patient cases, differential diagnoses, and viva examiners' traps.
- The Connectivity Reality: Major teaching hospitals and clinical wards in India frequently suffer from dead cellular zones and zero student Wi-Fi access. Cloud-only education platforms become unusable precisely when students need quick reference at the bedside.
Our Purpose: A Curriculum-Grounded Clinical Companion
PhysioPilot is built on an uncompromising technical principle: 100% offline-first software. We designed an Android learning engine that bundles the entire 4-year curriculum, 3,656+ university past-paper questions, 44 physical examination special tests, and algorithmic SuperMemo-2 spaced repetition into an offline SQLite database.
Students can study on the metro, review joint mobilization techniques in the OPD hallway, and practice 10-marker essay outlines inside teaching hospitals with zero internet connection.
Strict Pedagogical & Content Governance
Medical accuracy is paramount. PhysioPilot operates under rigorous academic editorial guidelines and clinical safety invariants:
Academic Fair Dealing
We synthesize anatomical facts, joint kinematics, and established clinical tests under Section 52(1)(a) of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957. We do NOT copy proprietary textbook prose or scanned plates.
Human Clinical Sign-Off
All newly ingested clinical case parameters and high-risk electrotherapy dosages default to an UNREVIEWED governance status pending review by licensed physiotherapists.
Zero Telemetry & Privacy
PhysioPilot contains zero third-party advertising SDKs, zero user tracking pixels, and never collects or processes Protected Health Information (PHI) or live patient data.
CDSCO SaMD Exemption
PhysioPilot is an educational reference study aid for university examinations and practical skill preparation. It is NOT a medical device or diagnostic system.
Rizwan Khan (Rizwan Physio)
Founder & Principal Product Engineer • Physiotherapy Learning Systems
Founded by Rizwan Khan (known across college peers as Rizwan Physio) to empower Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) students, juniors, and clinical seniors with an offline-first learning operating system. Designed to bridge the gap between heavy medical textbooks (Levangie & Norkin, Magee, Snell, BD Chaurasia) and confident university examination performance.
Transparent Institutional Boundaries:
• We do not claim official partnership with state health universities: Syllabi from WBUHS, RGUHS, and MUHS are analyzed as educational curriculum benchmarks to help students pass examinations.
• We do not claim commercial clinical validation: PhysioPilot is designed for university examination preparation and undergraduate clinical skill practice under senior supervision.
• We are an early-stage startup: PhysioPilot is currently in controlled closed pilot testing with enrolled BPT students before general public launch.
